Italo filmmaker Nanni Moretti to mind Cannes jury

MorettiItalian filmmaker Nanni Moretti continues to be drawn on to mind the jury only at that year's Cannes Film Festival. "The Festival desired to celebrate its 65th season having a European jury leader," stated Cannes delegate general Thierry Fremaux in announcing the choice. Festival chief Gilles Jacob stated he'd a premonition that Moretti would be a major estimate cinema in 1978 when his "Ecce Bombo" was joined into competition.
