Joseph Gordon-Levitt Wanted for 'Django Unchained'

Today in strage ledes: "Nearly a month after dining with director Quentin Tarantino, '50/50' star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to join the cast of the helmer's spaghetti Western 'Django Unchained.'" Thanks for that tidbit, Variety! As for the casting news: awesome! Variety reports Gordon-Levitt has agreed to co-star in the film opposite his 'Inception' pal Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as Jamie Foxx, Christophe Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and Don Johnson. Gordon-Levitt's involvement depends on his schedule, which is packed: he's starring in 'The Dark Knight Rises' for Christopher Nolan and 'Lincoln' for Steven Spielberg. Tarantino is hoping to start production in January. Nolan, Spielberg, Tarantino: seems like JGL is trying to give Carey Mulligan a run for her money in the awesome directors department.
